Well...

Post by blimpman »

Sadly I sold my 220 a year or so ago..... Regretted it ever since.

Bought and sold a few bikes since then and now I am looking for a KDX200.

There are a few on Craigslist around OHIO but maybe someone here has a lead? I have ~ 1100-1200 to spend. Bike has to have a title....
I am moving to Florida soon and will compete in the Florida Trail Rider HS series. The KDX200 will be perfect for me in the Golden Master division... The "old fart" division. :razz:

Spring fever has just hit around here...

Good thing is;
Bikes, especially used ones, are cheap. Even new. I've been easily able to find a brand new dealer 2009 KLR650 for $4500 plus tax and DMV. Out the door for $5033. I can find used 2009's for under $3500. You should be in good shape shopping now.

Looks pretty good. Offer him $800 in cash citing that the bike is 14 years old and the market is crap. $1,000 is probably a fair price though ;).

them old PC pipes all rusted, nothing a wire wheel won't take care of in short order. I kinda like the purple, too....

I think it's more important to check if the bike was well maintained. IE: bearings are good, compression is in spec, etc etc. Surely it's worth a closer look.

Little rain won't hurt it none

My KDX spent most of last winter in the back of my truck
