kips problem

did you get the shaft out that is part number 13107? seems to me that should free up 46102A.

ok ya i was thinking right when your siting on the bike.

but ok i have the cylinder right in front of me working on it. so then it would be the left.

but ya i got the main shaft out(the 13107)

its just the the 12005A and 46102A that i can not get out. i have everything else out.

they are loose in there and i can turn them. they just wont come out

Well the manual says to remove the main rod, which is the actuator that goes across the engine, then the main valve which is the big one in the center exhaust port. Then the two sub-valves, then the shafts on each side.

ok well i got it out. the left exhaust valve rod was all sticky.

but in the process i broke the left sub valve. just great then i call the dealer and they want 50 bucks! for it

anyone have an extra laying around they would sell me? its the part number 12005A

or any place that might be cheaper than the dealer?

there is one on ebay i might get

Nice. You're lucky it wasn't a YZ. My kid blew one up and it was $168.00 with a discount. Luckily he didn't ruin both of them. :roll:

ok well i got it all back together and it runs great! the shaft is turning right and i found a big difference with the new topend and head mod power wise.
i hope i just got everything back together right and dont have any problems later.
