Carb Float ???

Post by Tomm9050 »

Does this sound right?

I adjusted (raised) my carb float level, bent the tang DOWN a bit, it was low, and when I put it all back together, it was not getting gas, gas wouldn't flow.

I lowered the float a bit and it seemed to fix the problem.

So, if the float level is too high, will it prevent gas from getting
to the bowl?

Thanks!

Not really.... that sounds backwards of the way it should work. You really should measure it per the manual but add 1 mm to keep it from peeing.

That's what t thought. I did notice that I measured the height without tipping the float. I guess I'll have to redo it

thanks
