How tight do I need to get the two bolts that hold the water spout onto the head? I can't seem to find it in the service manual. Also, is 10-12 ft lb good on the spark plug...I can't bring myself to do 20 ft lb!

hey JB did you have a new gasket for the spout or what? My gasket kit from cometic did not come with that gasket. I wonder if it is ok to use RTV??

I ordered a moose kit off of ebay and it came with the gasket. I don't know about using RTV, but I've heard of people making their own gaskets. You can do a google search on it and get step by step instructions. Maybe one of the more experienced riders will chime in and give you some better options.

RTV should be fine.... Those are machined pretty good!
