Will KDX brakes fit 97 KX fork. I am getting a front end with a brake but the recent discussion has me wondering...

I'm putting '97 KX forks on my KDX as well. As I understand the issue, either the KX or KDX brake unit will work. The difference is in the routing of the brakeline which is different for the 2 bikes.

I found the mounting parts on a microfiche and both are the same. I had read somewhere that they changed the mounts but that could have been a mis remembrance...

They will fit. I have an x-tra front wheel if anyone needs one.

Be careful with that, sometimes it doesn't mean much. Not saying they aren't, just be cautious

The fork is coming with a front brake too but I would like to use mine with the KDX routing...
