what effect will worn steering dampers under the bar clamps have? Whats the best way to tell if they need replacing? Are o.e.m the only option for replacement?

If your bars are crooked..they get damaged when your bars hit the ground, trees etc.You can get a new set for about 18 bucks! I thought my bars were bent but it was those rubber dampers. There are other options but they are $$$.

I looked at my friends 22oe and his is an 02, two years older. His bars were pretty tight when i would pull against them on the steering stop< mine would move about an inch. I ordered a set from brp. Thanks for the info...

A one piece top clamp off of a KX125 solves a lot of the bar tweaking problems.
