Thought I had a 200
Doing a total overhaul of my bike this winter and am tearing into my motor.Found out the head is a 200 but bored to a 220(69mm) the bike was running great, just wanted to put a new piston in it.So I looked at the pipes part# a little closer and its a rev pipe. Not having a 200 to compare it to,how would this motor act different from a 200,I have both rb head and carb mod.Now with having 200 porting and being bored to 220 should it rev like a 200 or 220,should I go with a woods pipe? Anybody have any other suggestions?

Well I changed to a 47 tooth sprocket to keep the front wheel on the ground. Its fast but I dont know how a 200 revs out,it will rev pretty good but then flatten out,but then the kdx wont rev like a yz right?juliend wrote:A 200 bored to 220 with a rev pipe should just scream. You tell me? Did it run good or did it feel like a dog?

So your CYL says 198cc on it? Has the dome inside the head been re-profiled to fit the 69mm? I've often thought this would be the best way to make a 220 as kaw screwed up the porting anyway (IE even if your didn't touch the ports to handle the 69mm it would still be better off).
