I have a tusk kit in an 02 CR250. It is holding up well and feels great. I am pleased with the quality. I have no reason to think they won't last as long as the name brand. If they don't who cares. They last long enough to be worh the price. It does not take very long to install clutch plates and at the price you can just about buy three for the price of the EBC or Barnett etc.

So how much was the Tusk?

I'm running some no name eBay $40 special

It's worked fine other than the springs were a little stiff, but it sounds like most after market springs are anyway

Seems like I gave $40 something from RM for the CR kit.
