FRP clutch basket

emailed FRP this week asking if they are still thinking of making a clutch basket for the kdx.Jeff told me that they are very close and should be ready in a month or two. :supz:

I think the basket from the H will work in the E without trouble, so if he offers one at all it should work for us E series guys too!

I ordered a clutch basket from FRP a few days ago,I will post pictures as soon as it gets here.Whats one of the better clutch kits that you guys would recommend using?

I like OEM XR400 friction discs and OEM Kawasaki steels

I didnt know the xr 400 fit,is that a common mod?

Call Jeff F. but if memory serves I think its old XR 350 fibers he sells. They work great. Bigger surface. Search this site we have talked about it before.
WR sold. Now have 03 and 04 KDX 220s.
KXF 250 forks. RB Carb and Head. FMF rev pipe. Long live the KDX !!!

So here it is,not made by FRP oh well.They shipped it in a MITAKA box,looks like great quality but again not made by FRP.Maybe I misunderstood when I talked to Jeff lol.

It is very nice and its twice as hard as stock,so it says.The instructions say for KX125 88-89 and KDX.

Did the Hinson basket have a cutout on the clutch fingers for the last clutch plate like the OEM?Image[/img]

Beats Me. My DRZ440SM had an off-set alos, but when I installed the Rekluse I was instructed to stack like the other plates. So the intent I have NO IDEA... Maybe Carver could explain :grin:
