The bike has a Wiseco in it, installed this last season.
The previous owners uncle (big KDX guy) told me it's nothing to run 5 yrs on a piston. I will be running some high speed mx with it, as well as some cross country, but won't be ringing it out. The low, and midrange power is more suitable for me. How often would you guys swap out the piston, and how often should I do rings? In my mx bike, I would do a piston/rings once per season, maybe go 2 seasons on a Wiseco.
Thoughts?
How long should I expect a piston to last?

5 years easy... just keep an eye on the compression and performance.
