warp nine complete rear wheel---i need a rear hub!
Do they make this for the kdx...my hub on my 2004 kdx 200 shattered this weekend.Bike bandit wants 370 just for the hub, nothing on ebay.. can someone offer suggestions.I think my rear sprocket came loose? It totally broke a chunk off of my hub and the sprocket i guess just exploded.i changed out my sprockets and chain about 2 months ago..could all of the bolts except one just rattled off. Man this hurts..i just had to buy a pipe and silencer this month and its still sitting on my credit card. OUCH!

Jimmy,
Check with Mike Cheves at the salvage yard here in Blairsville (706-374-3470). One of the guys at my local shop said that he has a KDX or 3 on the property. If he has one, I'd be happy to take a look at it for you and send some pics. I'll be coming to the ATL on Thursday for a board meeting and can maybe help with delivery as well.

They likely would've been a lot easier to remove with a little heat. Use a 'permanent' agent..red, and when you take 'em off, hit 'em with a propane torch for a bit..10 seconds maybe..try to loosen..heat longer if needed. It doesn't take a red-hot glowing, smokin' heat.jswag wrote:..the old bolts were really hard to get off,now i see why
If you buy new bolts you'll notice they come with a thread locking agent one 'em.
Give Fredette a call.
If you come up with nothing, let me know. I'll check a local salvage yard.
**Check this!!**
Put the hub PN into a reverse look-up at a fiche site (RonAyers fer example). PN for an late model KDX hub is 41034-1216. It's called 'drum assembly, rear brake' for some dumb reason.
That same hub is used on quite a lot more'n the late model KDX...

Warp 9 rims..........I'm not saying they're bad but, I bent my rear on the very first ride. My buddy has had Warp 9 rims for some time and never bent one so mine might have just been an unlucky day.
04 KX-250 Hey.....at least it's green and smokes.
06 KDX-200 for off road play. Gone but not forgotten
07 KX-250F SOLD! I thump no more.

Loctite the brake rotor, too!
Did you transfer yours over..or does the KLX rotor fit?
I would've bat against finding a set of Excel KLX300 rims on ebay..particularly when there was a need for 'em.
They're straight and true?
The gods have smiled on 'ye.
