Foot Peg Options
Foot Peg Options
looking to improve my riding/steering with new foot pegs...what do you guys use out there? I've seen some very cool rotating foo pegs on a DRZ400...any thoughts on these or some that you guys prefer? Thanks.

Yeah I saw those pivoting ones this week, they look awsome but they are to pricey for me. IMS make some nice large ones. I have the moose standard one wich are a bit larger than stock but id like to get wider ones. I'm gonna try to fabricate larger ones using the ones I have but If that doesn't work out I'll probably go for the ims super stock ones.

No way. I had some YZF pegs laying around, whittled on them with the bench grinder and mounted those. Way big improvement.AtomicKDX wrote:is mostly everybody out there riding the tiny stock pegs???

A little grinding on the pegs stops is all... I believe they were 95 KX pegs.

I have a set of the cheap-o ebay 3-row pegs that the OEM springs don't fit into.AtomicKDX wrote:is mostly everybody out there riding the tiny stock pegs???
I've had 'em on for quite a few months..and banged 'em hard enough to smush the OEM pegs..they're still good. A bit wonky maybe 'cuz it's time for new pins and the frame boss they hit on is down a bit..but they work fine.
There isn't much in the way of 'reorientation'..lower/forward/rearward. They're pretty much in the same place the OEM pegs are.

Re: pegs
Thanks for the tip...I am thinking this is what I gonna go with. For me, the stock pegs are not wide enough.
