I'm stuck, KDX or EXC

I've ridden a few times on punkin 200exc. It's fun! Narrow and is fun to flick around.

But...it also vibrated like a chain-saw and the chain control on the thing was ridiculously pathetic. What a LOT of racket!! Several times I was wishing the thing could turn around a corner better while rarely do I have my KDX up against the stops.

Yeah...the seat is closer to a frame member than it is something to sit on. I found it much more natural to stand on the KTM..the KDX is a bit wide. Come to think of it, that KTM had an aftermarket (softer!) seat!!

Altogether, given the choice of one over the other I'd stick with the green one.

The EXC I rode had an aftermarket PC pipe which supposedly worked better in the woods. It DID work just fine. Suspension was done by House of Horsepower..a KTM dealer. He (Richard Wilson) knows his KTM stuff. I'm sure the bike would've been a lot less fun in either stock or RaceTech trim.
