KDX220 Questions

Post by Byte »

Hello team,

I have some questions about my 98 KDX220. I am chasing.....

(1) A picture or link showing a picture of their kicker in the 'parked' position and then in the finished position - with cover removed.

(2) Identification of carb size (without removing).

(3) Link / picture / part # for a suitable water pump guard/cover.

(4) Tips / tricks for ensuring clutch basket is aligned.

(5) Reasons why kicker can not be kicked over through it's range of travel.

Thank you

There may be technology that could ID the carb's ID without actually removing the carb. I CAN tell you that the stock carby is a 33mm

other than that I'd have to take a vacation day to help you out.

Seriously, have you removed the right hand side cover and compare with pictures from a manual? The online manual has some great pictures.

I don't believe you are approaching any of this logically....

There are proven methods for doing these things and I am afraid you will have to go through the process to determine your answers....
