porterdog,

Thanks for the heads up...I just bought one using the 10% off discount code (96639) and got it for 15.07 plus the 7 dollar shipping charge.

Colorado Mike,

Your stock guide should work fine with the 49t rear. As for the 108 link chain, it will work if your chain is strecthed.

Kinda pointless replacing the sprockets without a chain change also.

Agreed. A worn chain will wear the teeth quickly.

If you chain is fairly new than you can change with no problem. We would change our rear sprocket (teeth #) all the time going from track to track on the same chain. I would lay my chain on it's side and pick it up to see how limp it was. A brand new chain you'll get a 8-12" arch while a worn chain will arch a half circle.

I agree also...my chain has about 100 miles on it,so I should be good to go. My sprockets are good too...I just couldn't pass up on the deal.

Only read anecdotally many times, but a 49T is supposed to fit fine with OEM guides, a 108L and either a 12/13..but a 50T takes 110L.

Don't matter...buy a 110L and take off a couple if'n it's not right.

Maybe what you really need is 109T.

I've tried odd numbered link configurations a long time ago and was not happy with them. Perhaps they were developed for folks in the southern hemishere, but they just don't work well for me.
