Curious...do you have an impression one way or another that the amount of 'tight' on the nut using the wrench was any different more OR less than the 'very' tight originally stated?

It would be interesting to tighten it 'very' tight, then put the torque wrench on it to see what happens.

Probably a bit less properly torqued with the torque wrench.

With the 1/2" drive ratchet I tightened it until I was afraid I was about to strip the threads.

Maybe "seems to" was a bad choice of words. It stayed put despite all the banging around it went through on Saturday's ride. I'm hoping it continues to. :wink:
