chain length
I am currently running 13/51 sprockets on my CR. A new 114 link chain is too short and a 116 is too long. Well, the 116 isnt too long, but there is very little adjustment left. Needless to say, a 115 would be perfect, but i cant find one. Can you buy a longer, say X-Ring chain and remove a link or two? Thanx

When you do find a 115L chain, you will find the master link a tough fit. The chain will be heterochainus...and it must be homochainus.
Chain lengths are always an even number of links (if you use a master link) Consider them to be link pairs.
120 link chains are commonly available for a 'cut to fit' situation. Still, removing 'one' link will get you two, and removing 'two' links will get you four.
Either cheat on the chain slack, or run the 116 until it's too lose, then take two off.
Or...ride a real bike (a green one) that is designed to fit with the available (and required by design) homo chain lengths.
You could skip the master link idea and use a pin between hetero links. Just peen the end.
