250 update

Post by 89kdx200rdr »

dang i hate not posting anything just because i'm riding the kx now.

i posted some new pics in the gallery.

i pretty much went through the entire bike. regreased steering stem bearings and replaced all swingarm and shock linkage bearings. put in a new piston rings wristpin and bearing. new reeds (no vforce3 yet). i got an fmf gnarly pipe on ebay for 87 bucks couldnt pass that up. put in some .42 racetech fork springs and put on the 5.0 racetech shock spring i had and set the sag for me. its friggin awesome. oh and i put some seal savers on to keep the mud out of the fork seals. longer bolts for the fork guides do the trick.

probably be working inda but i hope not. i have no problem letting you ride it but you will probably want one after you ride it. bigorangekdx does. where/what is LBL? i cant believe how much lighter the 250 is compared to the 04 kdx200. its way lighter than my old 89 lead sled.

i see it that way and i also think we should be off on veterans day since 85% of the employees where i work are veterans but the guys that benefit the most from the work we do dont see it that way. how many times have you been to lbl? is it good riding in the summer? may have to plan some vacation around that later in the year. its about 6 1/2 hours from here looks pretty cool

Yeah, it's nice! Can go from wide open to some crazy hills. The KX will be at home there.

However, I'll never give up my Wide Ratio trans. Guess that means Euro-trash for my future!
