About 2 tablespooons. It appeared quite old, and rootbeer in color. anyone ever see this before. Finnally got to install Inda's 100 watt coil, which is worth every penny BTW.
ALSO.... Any headlight bulb recomendation with the new coil.
Pre mix behind the stator cover.

Actually that happend to mine i agree with the first thought that it is a seal issue but thats not what it was. Behind the stator plate there are three areas in the case where aluminum is cast around steel. Steel and aluminum have different thermal expansion rates as well as heat conduction rates. So for a short amount of time during warm up the case has expanded faster than the steel causing a temporary crankcase leak where premix leaks behind the flywheel area. The fix was to clean the areas and apply JB weld over them.
Not sure where I heard about this issue and how to fix it but I know that Mr. KDX (Jeff Fredette) does this to all his KDXs.
Try searching the web I know this is out there somewhere

Same thing happened with my '89. A couple of drops was sitting in the flywheel cover. Went ahead and replaced crank seals...TWICE!!80elkster wrote: Behind the stator plate there are three areas in the case where aluminum is cast around steel. And I tried the JBweld trick and no more problems.
Maybe it is not your case but cheap ans easy to try! Just be sure to use a flywheel puller. You don't want to damage your flywheel $$$$
