Just installed a new Scotts Stabilizer

Post by TWMOODY »

Just installed a new Scotts stabilizer.
I noticed an immediate difference on the first ride how much abuse
is no longer at the tip of the handle bars.
The bike tracks a straight line even through rutted out trails.
Can't wait to try it out at H&M or up north.

This thing works so well I would have to call it second best to none
of any of the suspension/steering mods......

Sweeeeeeeeeet !!!!!!!!!

Awesome! I'm saving up for a Scotts damper. How much did the damper and mount cost you? I also notice you've got usd forks on your bike, did you buy a mount for the model bike that the forks came from? Any modifications required to make the mount fit the kdx properly?

Cheers

Edit: That's not a kdx, is it?

Anybody here using a WER on a KDX?

I had a Scotts on my '06 Husky TE250, liked it except for the price  My KLX250S has a WER. It's OK, but not as nice as the Scotts IMHO.

Hey Rick
Sorry the bank is closed for a little while after purchasing mine.
I hooked up with a seller on e-bay to purchase mine.
I was an ok deal but nothing special due to the added cost
of the sub mount.
Certainly worth the money though........

Ha Ha, I hear ya! I have trouble with the CR wanting to wander all over in certain areas. This might be a wise upgrade for me. Keep your eyes open for one that would fit an 02' CR 250. :supz:

On the trails at HM... I could almost take my hands off the bars over those rocky downhills. 0 arm pump! They track so well and helps you conserve energy... The best upgrade I have ever done IMO.

Yep.

But...this isn't a thread about WERs on KDXs.

Rebound clicker adjustment doesn't help?

I'd appreciate a PM letting me know when the Scotts Bank IS open.

Thanks.
