They are picking on your spelling, grammar, and sentence structure.

That picking has been pretty gentle.

When I read a post full of misspelled words and have to work at understanding what the poster is trying to say I imagine that that poster is SPEAKING exactly as he wrote.

Blithering idiot, I imagine.

Besides...'pick' at it at the seal circumference, not the wiper.

How 'bout trying the 'wipe' fix with the dust seal in there before fussing about what happens if you try to take it out using an less than spec'd approach?
I did that with a seal saver (with the dust seal in) and it got a little dirt out...but it didn't fix the leak, it just made the other seal start leaking.

But it worked out ok, the oil needed changing and I was able to change the racetech goldvalve kit shims to match my weight.
