Waking this one up.
I went from 5 weight to ATF (7.5 +/-) and liked the change. It makes me wonder if I would like 10 weight.
Anybody ever go from 5 to 7.5 to 10? What's your feedback?
I'd hate to go through all the $ and trouble and find out 10 sucks, and then have to go back to 7.5.
Thanks . . . . . .

I was running ATF, but I wanted to slow the action of my .46 springs some, so I tried 10w
It's freaking AWESOME! Hard to believe just a change in oil weight could make such a dramatic change in handling
My first ride running 10w, I was running down a rutted out trail that I normally take my time on and pic my lines. But with the 10w I was able to haul ass and not worry about the ruts.

OK, put in the new springs and Mobil 1 ATF (no one mentioned the smell!)
measured the distance for the spacers and added 1/4" pre-load per JF for a
160# rider.
The PVC spacer is about 1/2" shorter than the stock metal tubes. Does this sound right? The bike seems to sag a bit more than before, but it's hard to tell.
The springs were the same length as stock .35k vs .30.
Any recommendations?
