Quick Question for you guys
One of the 5 aluminum tabs that holds the screw and spring to the clutch plates snapped on me. I have to order a new clutch boss, but that will be a week or so. Would it be ok to the bike to run it with 4 of the 5 screws and springs holding it together or am I an idiot for trying it?? The clutch seems to be working ok putting around the yard, but I have quite a few miles planned and can not afford to damage anything else in the process. Thanks in advance! You guys are always great with replys!

I had a Beta Rev 3 270 with the same problem. I rode the bike for quite a while that way, but the clutch dragged a bit as the pressure plate would kick out crookedly because of the uneven pressure being applied. This also allowed the pressure plate to hit the inside of the clutch cover, resulting in shiney metalic particles in my oil. I used a Dremel to grind out the inside of the cover a bit and I was able to continue riding the bike until I got a new basket.
