clutch issue
hey im new to the site.i have a 87 kdx200 i bought prolly13 years ago. Its always ran fine with now issues. but lately i cannot pull my clutch lever in every once in a while it totally locks up ne clue as to wut could be the cause of this. thanks

It is very likely that the clutch basket has notches worn into it from the plates. You'll need to pull the clutch basket out and file the slots smooth and reassemble. Have you ever changed or lubed the cable?

Here is a pic of the grooves in the clutch basket. Just pull it off and smooth them out with a file.
