Odometer drive spacer

Post by bcdonyo »

Just bought my first KDX and did a search, but couldn't find any info on a source for an odometer drive replacement spacer. I want to get rid of the odometer. I'm pretty sure i found one for my KLX back in the day, but can't remember where. If anyone knows of a source I'd appriciate it.

They do not have any odo spacers. Zip Ty Racing sells a aluminum plug that fits in place of where the cable screws in. It just pushes in and is held in place with a set screw. It also has a o-ring on it to keep out gunk. They are like $13 or something like that.

PS, I think they are made for the DRZ's but fit the KDX's as well.

I found a rubber stopper that fit just right and glued it in on a different bike. Did the trick.
