KDX200/220 engine interchangability

I tried searching this first and didn't get anything. Does anyone know if the the kdx220 engine bolts into the kdx200 frame? Trying to see what it takes to swap the two. Also, is this only for 95 and newer or will it swap with the older ones as well? Thanks, Stan

An 'A' motor bolts into an 'H' frame. Don't know if it bolts into an 'E' frame. If the latter worked, don't know what you would use for a pipe (at least that part). The 'E' and 'A' series pipes aren't the same a'tall. The frames are completely different.

For 95-up 200, and 97-up 220 everything is the same except for the cyl/head/carb. 200 carb is generally preferred on both.
