coolant resevoir tank

Post by Little Jeff »

I am a little confused on how this res. tank works. I fill mine all the way up to the full line and by the end of the ride, especially if it's hot, the coolant in the tank is all but gone. The only way I see that the coolant is coming out is the overflow tube on the top part of the tank. More than likely from being bounced around in the trails. Does the radiator draw from this tank, and if the radiator is losing coolant, where's that coolant going? It's not going in my gear oil as it is clean. :?

Great question. Why don't the MX bikes have them?
