Best Online Store for Gear?

Post by dfwgreg »

I'm going to be needing all the gear (helmet, pants, boots, jersey etc). My local Cycle Gear seems to have some pretty good sales, but I was wondering if there's an online source that has particularly low prices?

What's a good helmet for reasonable price? I'm hoping to find one in kawasaki green (xl)

Thx

I shop exclusively at Rocky Mountain on-line. Buy last years model for gear and you will save a bunch of money. At the end of the year, they send me a rebate check even! Fast shipping too. I order and get my stuff at my door step within two days. Order on Monday, it's here on Wednesday.

There are a ton of good places.

ThumperTalk has good prices.

MotorcycleSuperstore has gotten a lot of my business this year.

Once you know exactly what you want, give Google shopping a try; I score that sometimes.

I personally go w/ motosport.com. :partyman:

As posted above, I buy leftovers when the new gear comes out. I've even ebay'ed some NOS gear and found a 360 degree air Fox outfit for $50 for pants and a jersey. :supz:

I too do all of the same. RM is the best to me. Selection, prices, shipping, closeouts, they get it all right! I bought a pair of gloves from them off the closeout section once, and they sent the wrong size. They sent me the size that i ordered for free, plus told me to keep the other set. After i got the second set, they didnt fit right. It was the size that i ordered, but just didnt fit. Again, they sent me another pair, and i got to keep the other. I wanted to send them back, but they figured the cost of restocking and everything else, it wasnt worth it. And, if you rave about their company, and how you would like to advertise their name for them with stickers, they will send you a bunch of various stickers. They are great!
I do get some things from motosport.com at a good price, with nice results.
Yes, they really do let me drive the Train!

Rocky Mountain ATV has size guaranteed, which is good when trying to buy gear without trying it on. In my experience Fox pant run a size small.

LocoMX does run some good deals, and are good to deal with.
