Stock exhaust interchange question

Post by ettev »

I have the stock exhaust off my kids 2002 KDX220R laying around. One of his friends has a 1992 KDX250 and needs an exhaust. Can someone tell me if the one I have will work on that older model?

Kawasaki micro-fiche says the parts are different.

Trying is free though, so give it a go.

Different frames require different exhaust designs.

Ah, so the '92 is a single downtube design like my old '87?

Without seeing the 1992 I figured the bends might be different. Thanks everyone.
