Clutch cable

Post by smuggler »

Hey guys
I just received a new clutch cable from my dealer and it is about 5" too short. I checked the kawi.com site and the part number is a match. #54011-1342. My old cable frayed at end in clutch handle. Is their a fix for this cable or should I try and match somethig up at the dealer?
Thanks

I have a brand new Motion Pro clutch cable for my 2000 KDX 200 that I never used. I'll send it to you if you pay for the shipping. That'll save you a few dollars.

You got: 54011 54011-1342 CABLE-CLUTCH ? It says that on the cable package or on the paperwork?

5" too short is a LOT too short.

Two choices:

1. It was routed incorrectly.
2. There is an error in packaging/identification/manufacture.

I guess there is at least one more....

Your 12" apehanger bars need a different cable.
