My old KDX220R has been sighted in California

Post by AZRickD »

After buying a 2005 Gas Gas DE250 last spring, I sold my trusty "Dangerously Modified" (tm) 2003 KDX220R to a guy (Ed) in California who bought it for his "girl friend" (sure he did). He sent some pics a couple of weeks ago.

Here he is riding it in some nasty stuff near Lake Piru in California. He said the rains washed out the trail so they had to be creative in this section.

He added blinkers. Kalifornia is krazy like that.

That's not a pic of his girlfriend?

That's who he said he bought it for. Maybe he did.

The silencer is one that the previous owner (Robb Hooker) found for it.

It is an Answer silencer from the mid to late 1990s.

Nothing sprecial about it other than it is much lighter than stock and Robb probably got it for free.

I e-mailed "Ed," the new owner about this thread. Maybe he'll join up, if he hasn't already.

I am wondering if a bike needs to be plated to ride this unknown area adjacent to Lake Piru. I am waiting for Rower Flats to open.
