I want to locate a charger with same specs as this batterytender Jr.

Ideally, I want to acquire this Battery Tender Junior in Australia but don't think I can.

I have the Yusa ZTL7S (7 Series).

In particular, the charger must be able to:
Complete 4-step charging program (Initialization, Bulk Charge, Absorption Mode, Float Mode).
Automatically switches to float / maintenance voltage after fully charging the battery.
If the battery voltage drops too far under load, full charger output power resumes.

THis charger must be 12V @ 0.75A and 12' output cord (pigtail).

Can anyone help me locatge a Battery tender Jr.in Oz or an quivalent battery with same specs and oeprating characeristics?

They're around $25 (plus S&H of course). And, yep..I'm talking about the DelTran 750mv model.

I have two of 'em..one on my streetbike, one on my Duster.

No one on the web (Amazon has it) ships to Oz?

I see all sorts of places on the web that ship to Australia. You have called local auto parts outfits to ask if they carry Deltran products?

Anyway..you can acquire it IN Oz after you have it SHIPPED there. Will that do?

it was supposed to be posted on an aussie site - apologies.

But, I have noticed one thing in one of the links you provided (ebay one).

It states it needs 115 V AC. We run 220 V AC.

I am thinking this may be a major hurdle in acquiring this exact unit in any case... Thoughts ?

I haven't bothered to look up the specs on these units, but have a suggestion. It might be worth checking some fishing supply places for a trolling motor battery charger. I got a Minnkota self contained unit that has a fast charge and maintance mode, and works great on a ginormous battery. Probably overkill for a bike battery, but maybe easier to find.

I didn't know if Ozland ran 50 or 60Hz, and I also did not know you ran 220VAC.

Actually it appears to be referred to as 230..USED to be 240..but it's only the naming conventions that appear to have changed.

Deltran makes a 'waterproof' tender. Rated at 800ma, it is ALSO rated at 100-240AC.

Saw one yesterday! No, I didn't ask what it cost. It was on the shelf with the tenders and the juniors. About the size of a junior but has a more 'molded' looking case...like it might be waterproof or sumthin'.

byte u can get a converter from yr local electrical store for about 50 bucks,
just an adaptor u plug in then plug that wierd connection that the us guys use lol
