Dent and bend in pipe

Post by KDX220rser »

hey guys, ok so i put a FMF pipe and silencer on my 220 awhile back. it took a little while too get the jetting right, but once i did, it was running perfect. The fmf really opend the bike up. well i took a pretty hard spill doing about 55 and bent the Silencer, its kinda a kink in the pipe part right before the silencer. and when i fell i fell right and it broke the brackets the hold the pipe on and pushed the pipe against the motor. on the back side the pipe it put a pretty big dent in it. i think it already had a slit bend from the factory to clear the motor. but after that, it has not run the same. I took the pipe off but i am now thinking of buying a nother silencer and putting the pipe back on. will the dent in the pipe screw with my jetting? will it every run like did before?
