Try on every decent pair of mx boots you can find in every shop. I musta tried on every brand and every model. The higest price ones were not the best fit. I happened to find Fox FormaPro boots to be the best fit for me. They may not have all the high tech features or bling factor, but I can comfortably wear them all day, walk for miles, didn't need breaking in, and have protected my body very well.
I have the exact same issue with getting a leg over the bike as the rest of you. mx fender and proper sag are key. And don't put a foot down. Watch some trials vids (LOL).

I always step on the peg and it is super easy to get a leg over....

In other words, you're saying it's kinda like riding a horse...thing is they don't come with lowering kit and whatnot, never heard about a horse rider complaining about his horse being too tall

Yup... rode horses before dirt bikes....

Rode a Tennessee Walker at age 5.... talk about a very very tall horse!

I got a pair of A-Stars Tech 3s that I got a deal on. Best boots I've ever had bar none. Makes me wonder what the Tech 8-10s are like. (But not enough to spend $300 to find out)

Just break them in, some! Mow the yard a few times in 'em...wear them around the house.

Mine are as comfortable as any work or hiking boot I've ever had.

The T-8's are my favorite boots. I'd still be wear'n them but I get supplied with O'neil gear soooo stink'n cheap I can't pass it up.
The Hardwear boots I wear protect well and moves well but they don't come close to the comfort the T-8's have.
I have to put boot liners in and put on a short sports sock along with my reg riding sock to get the comfort the T-8's interior have.

i am sure i do... what model/year?? i have the '89 200, '98 200, and '00 220 that will part out first. sure one of them has what you need, they all run fine....

my shop manual says all h-series 200's have the pwk 35mm, but i am not sure about the boot you have. i will have a '00 200 parting out in the next week or so!
