That would have been back when I was growing up down in the hills. Miles and miles of dirt roads, now all paved. Bummer.

It's a BLAST on logging roads!

550lbs is barely noticeable as long as you keep your feet on the pegs :supz:

wow mr. wibbens,

that is a LOT of weight!!

still nimble? no WAY i could handle that machine. i have laid down my 200/220's (i have 5 or 6) perhaps... 5 out of the last 5 rides!!! :prayer:

but that is nasty nebraska bugeater trails. i call it urban-cross (i live in the *big city*, if you dare call it that) and ramp off of car tires and abandoned dressers and such. if lucky, a stolen car. :supz:

that is a BIG bike for the super tight trails i ride!

how is the power to weight ratio? hits hard??

A quarter-ton Suzukie, what a deal . . . that's a man's bike for sure.

FYYFF - For Young Yakkers from Fargo . . . nah. Flog Your Yellow. Fast Fourstoke . . . nope, it's blue. Flying Yonder w/ Young Full-bodied Fellows . . . CLOSER! For Heaven's Sake I Can't See, My Fancy Windshield Sticker is Too Big . . . wrong letters.

I GIVE UP!!!

Now that's a sight. Usually see those bikes shining new and parked outside Starbucks.

Respect on riding heavy off the tarmac.

Had my Varadero 1000 off the beaten track the other day. The old KDX never felt so light afterwards.

Happy Trails Amigo

The other day I was riding down a slimy clay, rutted out jeep road...

Before I knew what happ'd the bike was laying on it's right side

Me? I was still on the pegs! Luckily never had time to put a foot down
