Quick will it fit?

Post by John Cena »

Hi I was just wondering if my friends 1997 kdx 200 front and rear springs would fit on my 1992 kdx 200? Also is there any way to tell what size rear spring is on my 92 kdx 200? maybe a number stamped somewhere?

Thanks All! :prayer:

If they are all stock springs, then yes, it wil work. A stock 1992 shock spring is shown as 4.6 on the buykawasaki.com site. A stock 1997 spring is a 5.0. Buykawasaki.com will show the stock spring rates.

Both the front and rear springs should fit no problem. You might have to cut new preload spacers for the front springs. You will be much happier with the heavier front springs...little things like braking won't cause the front end to dive down anymore etc...
