Chain lube

I run a non O ring chain, and I'm looking for something that does not "fly off" and keeps the back end of the bike and rear wheel pretty clean.

I will not use chain wax or Klotz, too much mess for me.

Any other recommendations!

PJ 1 is very sticky and seems to be like a dirt magnet IMO. I have run good old Tri-flow on my non-O-ring chains for years with great results.

I also use Liquid Wrech O-ring chain lube for my O-ring chains and it is fantastic.

I good penetrating spray followed by a light wipe down and you are ready to go. Keep everything lubed and doesnt make a mess on the rest of the bike.

We have it at our local Bi-mart (NW everything store) and the local hardware stores. Good stuff for sure.

Dumonde Tech chain lube if you can find it, is by far and above everything I've ever used and thrown away. This stuff goes on as a thick liquid and dries on as a lubricating plastic. It doesn't fling off and it doesnt attract dirt.
Check out their site. Their products are all up there with the best if not the best available.
