Who wants a brand-new KDX220?

Post by UFS207 »

Found this on craigslist this morning:

Leftover '05 in Mt. Juliet, TN for $2999 out-the-door. Thought I would post a heads-up over here considering the rarity of finding a new 220 4 years after they quit making them. If you or someone you know is in the market I think this is a pretty sweet deal.

Oh, come on, I can't believe there's no interest . . . why, I'm sure there's some 200 owners who secretly lust for a 220

I'm waiting for a buddy to buy my Samurai. If this is still around I might do it, depending on how bad shipping would hurt.

You won't find many of these still available as this dealer bought it at a motorcycle auction of a closed Kawasaki dealer.
He bought it saturday and sold it on tuesday. :partyman:

Congratulations! I'm glad someone on here got it.
A friend of mine found a similar deal a few months ago in CA.

My 95 isn't very worn out. It will do just fine.

I know , but considering it's NEVER been riden and they don't make them anymore , it's worth the money , plus I don't plan on selling it.

Awesome, congratulations. I really feel like that was worth the money. I paid $2400 for my '00 220 when it was 4 years old. As far as new bikes go $3K wouldn't even buy you a CRF230F which isn't anywhere near the KDX in terms of capability.

I think you will really enjoy the bike, I've had mine over 4 years and still have fun on it every time I ride.

It kinda made me sad to look at that shiney new KDX in the pics though, my 220 looks like I rode it in the baja 1000 on it's sides in comparison.
