Hi All

Well, something finally broke on my 04. My son and I were getting ready to ride this afternoon. I reached down, pulled my choke knob up and the whole assembly pulled out of the carb body. I can't tell from the service manual if this starter plunger assy is supposed to screw in to the carb body or if it is connected inside the carb somehow. Anyone else had this problem?

It is threaded into the carb and is plastic, did you actually pull it out where it is threaded?

The plastic body of the choke screws into the carb body. It sounds like it is broken off at the threads down in the carb.

I took the carb off last night and the plunger plastic body is broken off in the carb. Thanks for the info N8Strine, Ron.
