I have a 2004 kdx and the seat seems to be wearing grooves in the gas tank.Im worried its gonna wear thru.Anyone else have this problem.Its contacting in 4 different places right near the tank latch.Any fixes?Thanks Jimmy...

Do you have an aftermarket seat cover? Is there a staple or folded corner on the seat that is making contact with the tank?
The front of the seat pan is pretty flexible, so it shouldn't be putting too much pressure on the tank. A wear line or couple of spots on the tank with is not uncommon, though.

Are you sitting on that part of the seat?

Yep, just roundoff the seat plastic edges (with a kinfe or a rat tail file) where it rubs on the tank. Then apply some duct tape between the two parts :mrgreen:
