I went through the same problem few months ago; no luck.

With the little spray I had left, I painted a 5*5 inc. metal piece and took it to Maatos painting. They were able to match the Kawasaki color using the computer and the color reading lents.

The only drawback is that in order to re paint the frame, I will have to either use a electric paint gun or take the frame to a professional.

Seems that I remember a can with a removable top and a valve that you presurize with air.J.C. Whitney or Harbor Freight if I remember right. That would work great for your batch of paint.

The paint that was mixed is an epoxy paint? Or...just green?

The paint store is an auto paint specalist. I am not an expert in the subject but the people in the counter explained how to mix the paint correctly. I bought the actual paint and two other things I don't have in top of my head. Mixing the three in the correct measurements and paint is ready to be used.

I have not got to the re painting of the frame yet so I am not sure how all this will turn out, but I feel is the best to try since PJ1 does not sell the Kawa green anymore.

I assume one would be a reducer (solvent/thinner), the other a hardener. Whether that makes it an epoxy paint as the PJ is supposed to be, I dunno.

RMMC lists only black and blue colors in the PJ line. Doesn't sound like they plan on keeping in business with THAT stellar line-up of original colors.

Do you have a compressor? HVLP guns don't cost much...

canyncarvr,

Tks for the links with info.

I already have an electric paint gun and that is what I will use to paint the frame.

I assume this is the way we all have to go after PJ1 left us in the dark.
