damper monting for USD's

Post by muddertrucker »

Just wondering if I should be looking far the KDX montin hardware or the KX one. I have a applied racing top clamp and matching 97 KX forks.

I would say call the stabilizer company and tell them what you have and they can probably tell you what parts you will need to make it all work.

Have KDX with Scotts mount. Using KXF 250 forks with BRP triple clamp that allows the submount of stabilizer. Used the pin and collar that Scotts can supply but had to modify and reweld it.

KDX tanks is beefy compared to KX tank so needed to make some clearance. Other than some grinding and welding its pretty straight forward.

WR sold. Now have 03 and 04 KDX 220s.
KXF 250 forks. RB Carb and Head. FMF rev pipe. Long live the KDX !!!

If you have a KX top clamp... you will need the KX setup.
