Carb Question

Post by ettev »

Just picked up a 2002 KDX220R for my son. Awesome bike. I do have one question.

After riding and it's turned off and on the kick stand gas pours out of the carb drain lines under the bike and I mean it doesn't stop until the bike is either stood upright, re-started, or the petcock shutoff. Whatzup? The fix for the problem is_____________?

Try adjusting the float level. If it is set to high it can cause this.

BOTH floats level.

There are other things that can cause the same problem. If the float level is correct...or if you make it so and it still pees, post here again.
