DDK?

Post by canyncarvr »

Looking at my JD spreadsheet, I'm reminded that he sees the DDK as a possibility for the KDX.

Anyone try one?

I run lean right around 1/4..and the DDK would be a step (pretty big step) in the right direction from the DEK I've been using.

Yeah...so is a CEK. It's been quite awhile since I ran that. Might be time to try it again...be a real man (Inda said once...) :hmm:

Uh...JD copywrited that, didn't he?

IF the author says, 'This ain't shareware!'..I'd respect it.

He does say that.

I paid for mine.

That it's labeled 'demo download'? I don't know 'bout that. I guess if JD didn't like it happening, he'd tell wbarrow about it.

Not trying to be anal about it. I take a dim view of pirating anything. It's called stealing. JD spent a good amount of time helping KDXers tune the PWK, I'm happy to send him a few bucks for his efforts.

There was a thread recently asking about his (JD's) kits. Note that his spreadsheet does NOT contain info on his needles (he makes his own needles for some of his 'kits' is my understanding. Don't know what comes in a KDX 'kit').

I'll clarify this as I feel that CC is completely correct with what he's put up here. I've email James Dean (the JD referenced above) about the spreadsheet and the above mentioned download. Here is the quoted email:

Email--------------------
The web owner helped me with developing the first jetting guide. I paid him several hundred dollars, but he wanted more...
He does with it as he wants.

Use it if you want to, no worries.

As such i've always told people to treat as it as a limited demo (it doesn't have all the same features as the more recent versions) and spring for the full version if you use it. End of story, nothing to see here, etc.

I feel the faint rustlings of a rememory...

You told me this before, didn't you? :hmm:

Meaning..the link was posted, I fretted about it, you set me straight.

Right?

Remember when that was?

Thanks! Again, even.

AND...I didn't post this originally in 'Jets-n-Needles' 'cuz that is subtitled 'A Reference Guide'...not a 'Put Your PWK questions here!' place.

btw and all..............
