I need some brake pads (front specifically) for my 200. Today they were screeching a lot, so I figured its time to replace. Are these pads ok, anyone used 'em? If they arn't good, any suggestions?

There ok. They will last a while, depending on how much you ride. They actually work pretty well too...So if your on a budget, go for it!

I did. Paypal says the echeck will clear around Wednesday, so I might have them on this weekend. If not, oh well, can't go riding this weekend anyway...
Ill deff report on how they feel once I get them.

If the brakes are screeching, please check to see if you have any pad left at all. If not, you're gonna do some damage to the rotor, at best...or damage to yourself.
I'm probably re-stating the obvious here, but just wanted to be sure.

They look like ones that I have bought from e-bay for my DR650. They don't last as long as EBC's but they are cheap and work well. I bought mine from an e-bay company called sobrake, I think. I think their prices are even cheaper. Your shiping in the US is dirt cheap too. To get them to canada is about 3 times what you pay and I still only paid about $30 fot 2 sets of rears, delivered. I am planning on ordering some for the KDX this winter. i like to keep 1 or 2 sets on hand just in case I ever get to ride!

If it matters to you...

Whether EBC or these..aftermarket pads come without a SS backing plate and without the fiber pad found on OEM brakes.

You can swap those two parts from the OEM pads to aftermarket pads a time or two until one of the mounting clips breaks and they won't stay in place any longer.

If you want to replace like for like..all the parts that are PART of the OEM pad 'assembly'..that's not what you're getting.

If your brake pins have any wear to them (divots where the pad backing plate have rubbed) they should be replaced. Those divots will keep the new pads from moving freely. When you put those pins back in, DO use anti-seize on the threads. If you don't, you might not get them out again.

...which remains to be seen on the pins you have in there NOW! Use a good quality allen wrench, not one that has rounded corners from use/abuse.

Keeping a dirtbike in operating condition, let alone GOOD operating condition you will find is an expensive proposition....a literal black hole for dollars.

Don't worry, its not getting ridden 'till they're replaced. If I do, it'll just be around the yard with rear brake.
