FWW + Autoclutch

Post by bradf »

I will be converting to an EFM very soon. I am thinking that the FWW I have installed now will not be as effective or even needed with the autoclutch. What do you guys think?

I've left mine on but I'm also thinking about it's current usefulness. Here's the thing though, the auto clutch hooks up awful fast. The flywheel weight keeps traction to the rear wheel by dampening the strong power hit of the motor now at off idle engine speeds. Loosing the FWW could result in loss of traction and cause more wheel spin. My thoughts anyway.

Someone needs to prove to me that this fancy-schmancy-hi-dollar clutch thing is wotth anything...let alone what it actually costs! I just don't see it.

You know CC... it's not that much more than a new basket and plates.... And if it gets rid of that nasty clutch noise...

well, that's worth something! :?

If I could only keep one mod, it would be the autoclutch. Marty liked it.
