Hooking up FRP brake light switch

Post by Brian Y »

Hey all noob here, but I have a question.

I am trying to hook up my FRP brake light switch on my 98 220. I cannot seem to locate the bracket to mount the switch that is supposedly on the right side. I see a bracket but it is way up on the frame. Is that it?

Also I cannot seem to mount it behind the brake resevoir as I am concerned it will hit the swing arm.

Anybody have any pics of this deal mounted up?

Also questions about tire size???? 120-90-18 gonna work???

Sorry I tried searching but didn't seem to find anything. If this is posted somewhere just link me and I will shut up.

Thanks for any help.

Way up on the frame under the side panel is where my brake light switch is.
Real long wire/rod connecting to the lever.

Yea it seems odd, but it does work.

I'll try to snap some pics tonight.

Cool, that is what I thought but seemed really weird, and like it would be loaded with crap really quick.

I guess I will go ahead and just hooker up.

I would still love to see the pics.

It will work fine.

Not all tire sizes of the same numbers are the same size, but anyone's 120 will 'work'.

Some 130s would be fine, too (S12)....some won't fit too good (M5B).
