quick turn throttle?

quick turn throttle?

does anyone else have problems hitting full throtle while standing?(maybe cuz im 6'6??) when sitting I can get it easily,when standing im pretty hunched over.I have had a search on the web but couldnt find any quick turn throtles? i get 7/8 of gas i want the last 1/8.

6'6 is pretty tall but sounds to me like you might need to change your stance a bit ie. bend your knees some and square out your elbows to bring your own center of gravity down low. If that does not work you could try a higher bar.

I don't know what kind of terrain you ride but to me it seems like less throtle would be less forgiving in the rough stuff.

For a simple 1/8" turn couldn't you just tilt your throttle assembly forward a touch?

Here is some possibly useless information-

The '95 KX125 throttle assembly has a different cam than the KDX assembly. Zero to full throttle in about 80 degrees, the KDX is more than 90. You can use the KX125 throttle assembly BUT you have to use the KX throttle cable. The KX mechanism is a little slicker, offsetting the harder pull.
