Swingarm Tab GONE!!!

Post by N8Strine »

I machined the kickstand tab off today, used an air grinder with a sanding tab to get it down further until I was able to pull it off. Next I will cut a piece of flat aluminum and slide it inside of the swingarm under the holes and have it filled with weld and smoothed off then Powder Coated.

I had it welded today, used the threaded plugs that were part of the kickstand tab to weld it shut. Next I am going to sandblast it and have it powdercoated. Turned out good so far.

Nope that thing is long gone, that was the first thing I took off the bike lol. If you check out Rick Alberts post you can see how he used a trail tech kickstand. That looks better than stock and is out of the way.
