Been riding my KDX on the road quite a bit lately and it rides rough at speeds of about 30mph and less. This "roughness" is kind of hard to explain, it is as if it just wants to run smoothl, but just can't quite make it. Does not matter which gear I am in. It is as if there is a very fine line between the bike running rough and smooth. Once above this "transition" point it runs smooth and strong. Someone mentioned a concept called "four stroking" that might be the cause.
Anyone else have this issue? Is it something with the jetting, or is it a natural to the bike
thx

I would suspect jetting. What's your elevation, type of engine mods and jets? Plug look good?
